(New York, NY) Cynthia Wainwright, President of the Board of Directors of The Bridge, announced today that (attorneys for the Estate of Peter Sacco) Walter Lesnevich and Madeline Marzano-Lesnivich facilitated a $100,000 donation from The Estate of Mr. Peter Sacco. Mrs. Wainwright said, "We are delighted to receive this generous donation at this time of great need at The Bridge. These funds will greatly benefit the more than 2,000 clients that The Bridge serves -- men and women with serious mental illness, the homeless, and people with HIV/AIDS." Download PDF
Groundbreaking Ceremony To Be Held For New Herkimer Street Residence in Brooklyn

The Bridge, a non-profit agency in its 58th year that provides essential housing and mental health services throughout Manhattan, the Bronx and Queens, is beginning construction on a new 53-unit building in Brooklyn. Herkimer Street Residence will be integrated housing offering studio and two-bedroom apartments with services to 20 low income families from the community; 20 homeless adults with mental health conditions; and 20 young adults aging out of NYS children's residential treatment facilities or foster care. The Bridge Awarded $10,000 Challenge Grant from The Barker Welfare Foundation

(New York, NY) The Barker Welfare Foundation has awarded a $10,000 Challenge grant to The Bridge, the non-profit provider of essential mental health and housing services throughout Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens to be used for General Operating Support. (New York, NY) The Bridge, a non profit which serves close to 2,000 New Yorkers annually in need of mental health services and housing, raised $300,000 at its Annual Gala on June 8th. More than 250 friends and supporters attended the event, which was held at the Jumeirah Essex House on Central Park South. Honorees were Kenneth Fisher, Individual Partner in Caring, Senior Partner at Fisher Brothers and Chairman of the Fisher House Foundation, Howard Rothschild, President of the Realty Advisory Board on Labor Relations, Inc., Corporate Partner in Caring and Hon. COO Robert Yankowitz Retires and New COO Will Be Michael Blady

(New York, NY) The Bridge, the 58-year old non-profit that provides treatment, residential, vocational and health care service to more than 1,800 adults, including people with serious mental illness, co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse, the homeless and people with HIV/AIDS, is bidding farewell to its long-time Chief Operating Officer (COO) and welcoming a new one.
