PROS Brochure
Participants first identify their own individual Life Role Goals. Once a participant’s goals are identified (in life domains including relationships, employment, housing, education, spiritual and leisure time activities), the next step is to identify the obstacles that must be overcome in order to achieve them. Participants then receive the tailored PROS services that are designed to address the obstacles and promote success in assuming the desired Life Roles. The structure of the program, which uses small groups for learning, allows for individualized services that maximize the opportunities for participants to make rapid progress in achieving their goals.
Since The Bridge had already been offering many of the evidence-based services at are the heart of PROS, introducing the program at the agency felt like a natural evolution of the work we've been doing for many years. The program, offered weekdays from 8 AM to 5 PM, serves more than 225 clients. Staff included social workers, vocational specialists, psychiatrist, nurse and nurse practitioners.
