Assertive Community Treatment (ACT)

The Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) was created to provide services to clients who have not been able to take advantage of conventional mental health programs. The ACT Team, consisting of a psychiatrist, nurse, mental health clinician, substance abuse and vocational specialists, and a peer worker provide services to clients on site where they live.

The Bridge operates two ACT Teams, in Manhattan and the Bronx. In addition to offering the full range of treatment and rehabilitation services, the Bronx ACT Team offers housing for its participants.
