Vocational Services

The Bridge provides extensive programming for adults who are diagnosed with a mental illness and are looking to enter or re-enter the workforce.

Our Approach

The Bridge's vocational services model is Individual Placement and Support (IPS), an OMH-supported approach that is a federally recognized Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) for Persons with Mental Illness.

The major components of the IPS model are rapid job search, attention to consumer preferences, and continuous and comprehensive assessment with time-unlimited support services—the goal being competitive employment, with or without supports, in an integrated setting in the community.
